Drill is the discipline of precision, customs, and uniformity. The original purpose of drill was to move troops in an organized manner. However, it has expanded into a form to develop, discipline, and lead. In South Fork High School’s Bulldog Battalion, the elite are drawn from the drill team, also known as the Drill Dawgs. The majority of the battalion and company leadership, and the battalion staff are proud Drill Dawgs. A Drill Dawg is a motivated and disciplined individual who is held up to maintaining high standards at all times. By Becoming a Drill Dawg, an individual joins a family of great leaders who pass their tradition of excellence to the impending leaders of The Bulldog Battalion.
